Registering to play with South Darwin Rugby Union (SDRU) is easy.

STEP 1: If you have a sports voucher– please email this to the club at sdrc@southdarwinrugby.onmicrosoft.com. Upon verification you will then be emailed a discount code to use in Rugby Xplorer to deduct the club fees from your final registration fees.

STEP 2: Register and pay through Rugby Xplorer (step-by-step instructions are provided in a separate document)


STEP 3: All juniors start training 16th September 2025 – your kit will be given to all players hopefully before the first game – if not the club will have game shorts and socks available for players. If you have any questions, you are welcome to email us at any time at rugby@southdarwin.com.au

Junior Registrations

We are currently setting up our registration process for the 2025 Season. We will update this page as soon as registrations are live and outline the registration steps.

Registration Costs
Registration fees include Australian Rugby Union and NT Rugby Union participation fees and SDRU club fee for players aged 4 and over. NT Government $100 Sport vouchers are accepted by SDRU for club fees. Please email the NT sport voucher to rugby@southdarwin.com.au to gain a club discount code to use as part of your registration through Rugby Xplorer.


U5s + U7s (TBA)
This covers insurance and competition fees for the season. Players will receive a training singlet, shorts and socks.


U9s – U17s (TBA)
This covers insurance and competition fees for the season. Players will receive a training singlet, shorts and socks.


Fees can be paid through the Rugby Xplorer website at rugbyxplorer.com.au.

What team can junior players register?

U5s – born in 2020/21
U7s – born in 2018/19
U9s – born in 2016/17
U11s – born in 2014/15
U13s – born in 2012/13
U15s – born in 2010/11

U17s – born in 2008/09
